You are all invited to “Full Moon Dance Party” Year 2

The Local Government Unit of Santa Barbara in cooperation with Municipal Tourism Council present the "Full Moon Dance Party" Year 2, a fun filled summer camp from sundown to sunrise. This will be held at Santa Barbara Eco-Adventure Park on May 1, 6:00 pm to May 2, 6:00 am with Live Band, Bonfire, Food Kiosks and Beer Garden.

General Admission Fee - Php 20.00 
Barkada/Group/Corporate Package - Php 1,500.00 - inclusive of free entrance for 10 pax, 1 case of beer and 1 lechon manok

Santa Barbara to Host the 2015 Provincial Jamboree

March 13, 2015 – After the 2nd ocular visit and assessment at the proposed site in Brgy. Camambugan, and deliberation of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Iloilo (Confesor) Council with Hon. Mayor Dennis S. Superficial, M.D.,they have approved that the historic town of Santa Barbara will host the 2015 Provincial Jamboree.

116th Cry of Santa Barbara and 14th kahilwayan Festival

In commemoration of the historic uprising of the Ilonggos against Spain to its ultimate cry of victory and freedom, Santa Barbaranhons’ celebrate  the 116th Cry of Santa Barbara and 14th Kahilwayan Festival on November 11 to 17.

Santa Barbara was the site of the First Filipino Flag raising outside Luzon, which is called the “Cry of Santa Barbara”; that recognizes the heroism and bravery of the greatest revolutionary hero of Visayas and Mindanao General Martin Teofilo Delgado and his Liberating Army. The “Kahilwayan Festival” aims to portray the story of the “Cry of Santa Barbara”.

Santa Barbara is also very proud of being the HALL OF FAME AWARDEE 2014 Department of Tourism - Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (DOT-ATOP) Pearl Awards for Kahilwayan Festival as Best Tourism Event of the Country - Culture and Arts Category (Municipal Level) for three consecutive years (2011, 2012, 2013).The Hall of Fame Trophy was given during the 15th ATOP National Convention at Bacolod City, Province of Negros Occidental on October 2-4, 2014.

The celebration of the 2014 Cry of Santa Barbara and Kahilwayan Festival started on November 11 with the flag raising ceremony, the LGU Santa Barbara Chorale led the singing of the Pamabansang Awit and the Municipal Hymn "Santa Barbara Bugal kag Palangga Ko", followed by the announcement of the winners of the Class A and B categories of "Mayor Dennis Superficial Caddies Cup" (Golf Tournament) and finally Hon. Mayor Dennis S. Superficial M.D. officially opened the celebration of the 116th Cry of Santa Barbara and the 14th Kahilwayan Festival.
